Your privacy is important to CorpMed.com. As a user of our website, you can better manage the health, safety, comfort, and productivity of your work environment. We understand that these topics are personal and private, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible visiting our website and using its services. Please remember that any information (including personal and medical information) that you reveal in a public forum (such as a bulletin board, mail list, chat room/event) is not subject to this Privacy Policy and will be seen by third parties not related to CorpMed.com and may be used by them to contact you or for unauthorized purposes. Also, if you link to a third party site from CorpMed.com, any information you reveal on that site is not subject to this Privacy Policy you should consult the privacy policies of each site you visit.

Article 1: Personal Information We Collect

We collect information in two distinct areas: (1) Basic registration fields; and (2) Custom registration fields. The information we collect in these areas includes:

  • First and last name*
  • Email address*
  • Login name and password*
  • Custom information (such as payroll number or supervisor name) that the client company requires.

Required information is indicated by an asterisk*. Provision of all other information is optional.

We also collect information that you voluntarily provide to us through responses to surveys, questionnaires, and quizzes, and any data collected during the course of using our training or self-care facilities. Some data (such as the information silently collected to prevent cheating on online testing) will not be made immediately available to the user, but will be reported in response to a written request.

We also collect information about you and your use of our site through the use of cookies. "Cookies" are small computer files that we transfer to your computer's browser (but are not saved to your hard drive). CorpMed.com uses cookies to store a user's internal identification number once they have logged in, providing a high level of security for our users. Cookies also allow us to know how often someone visits our site and the activities they conduct while on our site (such as the areas you visited, etc.). This information helps us dynamically generate advertising and content on web pages specifically designed for you and also allows us to statistically monitor how many people are using our site and for what purpose. Sponsors and advertisers may also use cookies when you select their advertisement; we are unable to control their use of cookies or how they manage the information they gather.

Article 2: Disclosure of Your Personal Information

Except as set forth in this paragraph, CorpMed.com will not disclose to any unaffiliated parties any information it gathers from you which could be used to identify or contact you. Any Personal Information provided to entities affiliated with CorpMed.com will be treated in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, unless you are otherwise notified. In the following limited circumstances we will consider, and may release, Personal Information to third parties: (1) to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order; or (2) in special cases, such as a physical threat to you or others. We will provide Personal Information (as defined in Article 1) to supervisors and safety officers ("Officers") of the the client company to aid training compliance and EHS program development. All Officers are verified as privileged agents of the client company. We also provide Personal Information (as defined in Article 1) to our vendors and suppliers where it is necessary for them to provide us with products and services related to better operation and maintenance of our website ("Vendors"). We will attempt to require that each of these Vendors not further use or disclose your Personal Information for any purpose other than providing us or you with products and services. Of course, we cannot guarantee their compliance with these restrictions.

CorpMed.com may provide information about you which does not allow you to be identified or contacted ("Aggregate Information") to third parties. For example, we might inform third parties regarding the number of users of our site and the activities they conduct while on our site. We might also inform a pharmaceutical company (that may or may not be an advertiser on our site) that "30% of our users live east of the Mississippi" or that "25% of our users have tried alternative medicine." Depending on the circumstances, we may or may not charge for this information.

Article 3: Your Privacy Choices

CorpMed.com does not currently send any recurring promotional or informational emails. We reserve the right to do so in the future, with an opt-out option being provided in Registration and Edit Account.

Article 4: Updating Your Personal Information and Contacting CorpMed.com

You can always contact us in order to (1) delete your Personal Information from our systems, (2) update the Personal Information that you have provided to us, and (3) change your preferences with respect to marketing contacts, by emailing us at sales@corpmed.com.

Disclosure of revisions

CorpMed.com may change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting revisions to our website. Your use of the site constitutes acceptance of the provisions of this Privacy Policy and your continued usage after such changes are posted constitutes acceptance of each revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy or any revised policy, please exit the site immediately.
