Your privacy is important to CorpMed.  As a user of our website you can improve the health, safety and comfort of your work environment. We understand that physical discomfort is a personal and private issue, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible visiting our website and using its services. This Privacy Policy will tell you what information we collect, how we protect it and what choices you have about how that information is used. We urge you to read this Privacy Policy so that you will understand our commitment to you and your privacy, and how you can participate in that commitment.

Please note that if you link to a third party site from CorpMed, any information you reveal on that site is not subject to this Privacy Policy; you should consult the privacy policies of each site you visit.

Article 1: Personal Information We Collect

We collect information in two distinct areas: (1) Registration fields; and (2) Survey fields. The information we collect in the Registration areas is essential and includes:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Login name and password
  • Custom information (such as employee ID number or supervisor name) if the client company requires it.

We also collect information that you voluntarily provide to us through responses to surveys in the training and subsequent to the training. This includes:

  • Risk factors for workstation adjustment and posture
  • Discomfort level and frequency for various areas of the body

If you prefer not to report risk factors, you may either select “No” to bypass a specific question or click on the “Submit” button twice to move past the entire survey. If you prefer not to indicate your level of discomfort, you may simply click on the “Advance” button to move past this screen.

We also collect information about you and your use of our site through the use of cookies. "Cookies" are small computer files that we transfer to your computer's browser (but are not saved to your hard drive). CorpMed uses cookies to store a user's internal identification number once they have logged in, providing a high level of security for our users. Cookies also allow us to know how often someone visits our site and the activities they conduct while on our site (such as the training you complete.). This information helps us monitor how many people are using our site.

Article 2: Disclosure of Your Personal Information

Except as set forth in this paragraph, CorpMed will not disclose to any unaffiliated party (someone other than one of your company’s ergonomic administrators or their designee) any information it gathers from you that could be used to identify or contact you. Any Personal Information provided to entities affiliated with CorpMed will be treated in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, unless you are otherwise notified. We will consider, and may release, Personal Information to third parties only to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order. We will occasionally provide Personal Information (as defined in Article 1) to ergonomic administrators and safety officers ("Administrators") of the client company to document training compliance and ergonomics program development. In general, Administrators obtain this information via Reports that are available to them 24/7. All Administrators are verified as privileged agents of the client company and have secure access to user data of their company only. CorpMed may provide information about you which does not allow you to be identified or contacted ("Aggregate Information") to third parties. For example, we might inform third parties regarding the number of users of our site, the activities they conduct while on our site and the risk factors or discomfort that they possess.

Article 3: Your Privacy Choices

CorpMed does not currently send any auto-generated informational emails. We reserve the right to do so in the future, with an opt-out option being provided in the email or in the users’ “Edit Account” page. If you prefer not to be notified of ergonomic tips, your suggested date to repeat the training or choices for reducing your risk factors, we suggest that you contact your Administrator.

Article 4: Updating Your Personal Information and Contacting CorpMed

You can always contact us in order to (1) delete your Personal Information and all training data from our system, or (2) update your Personal Information that you have provided to us, by emailing us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  You may update your Personal Information yourself by clicking on the “Edit Account” link on the top header bar of the Ergo Clinic.

Disclosure of Revisions

CorpMed may change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting revisions to our website. Your use of the site constitutes acceptance of the provisions of this Privacy Policy and your continued usage after such changes are posted constitutes acceptance of each revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy or any revised policy, please exit the site immediately.
