CorpMed Marks Ten Year Milestone
With the Ergo Clinic Online Training Program

SAN DIEGO, CA – February 26 2007: CorpMed LLC, a San Diego-based medical organization
providing web-based ergonomic training to private companies and government agencies has
announced its 10th anniversary. CorpMed’s Ergo Clinic is an easy-to-use web-based training
program that can be delivered via the Internet or over a company’s existing intranet. To
date, nearly 100,000 employees around the country have taken this cost-effective,
computer-based training at their computer workstations.

Kevin Byrne, MD, MPH, founded CorpMed, in 1997 to provide preventive services in the area
of musculoskeletal disorders. With over 20 years experience in treating and preventing
cumulative/repetitive disorders, his work has proven that the great majority of these injuries
are preventable by effective training and other prevention tools. His most recent work has
focused on the positive impact of Ergo Clinic ergonomic training on both productivity and
costs.

According to Dr. Byrne, “We have demonstrated that the Ergo Clinic has helped our clients
save hundreds of thousands of dollars in Workers’ Comp costs.” He added, “Not only have
claims plummeted, but indirect costs associated with disability wages, replacement workers,
productivity, quality problems and overtime have also dropped dramatically.”

Ergo Clinic clients include Franklin Templeton, Great West Life, Hitachi, Humana, Shell Oil,
the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Comp, and California Casualty among others.

“I’m very proud of our successful track record and what we’ve accomplished over the past
ten years. Because of recent upgrades to the training and program management software,
we are looking forward to even greater success during the next ten years,” said Dr. Byrne.
