CorpMed Announces Product Upgrades to the
Ergo Clinic Online Training Program

SAN DIEGO, CA - April 1, 2007: CorpMed, LLC a San Diego-based medical organization providing web-based ergonomic training and injury prevention programs has announced it is rolling out several product upgrades with its 10th anniversary edition. CorpMed’s Ergo Clinic is an easy-to-use web-based training program that can be delivered via the Internet or over a company’s intranet.

New upgrades focus on the reporting capabilities of the Ergo Clinic training program that company administrators rely on to document participation and overall effectiveness of the training program. Report enhancements include better sorting and filtering functionality for tracking participation levels in specific departments or locations within the company; an updated user interface for customizing reports; and a streamlined process making it easier for the administrator to email employees who are at high risk of injury or are already in discomfort.

Lists can be generated by employees who
  • Are at high or medium risk of injury
  • Are in significant discomfort
  • Have increased or decreased their risk status
  • Have not taken the training in the past year

Reports are also easier to read, while detailed information is only a click away.

“We are passionate about making sure our clients have the data needed to measure success in terms of employee participation and improved comfort levels. So their input and requests are something we take very seriously,” said Kevin Byrne, MD, CorpMed CEO.

CorpMed clients include Franklin Templeton, Great West Life, Hitachi, Humana, Shell Oil, the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Comp, and California Casualty, among others.

Other Ergo Clinic Reports compile user surveys regarding problems with equipment setup, posture and areas of discomfort. The company ergonomist can easily look up an individual’s problem areas.

Additional new options include:

  • Interface with PeopleSoft, using Single Sign-On
  • Access to the 10-minute Webinar for refresher training
  • Ability to archive separated employees
  • Email reports to managers
